Co-founder Baiju Bhatt was a college jazz-and-funk guitarist who DJed under a name too good to be real. Not a marketing exercise. An actual, buried alias from before any of it. The kind of detail that becomes a whole identity.

Baiju and Vlad Tenev, the long-haired chess kid, grew up, met at university, and built Robinhood: they did to Wall Street what a good set does to a crowd, made it accessible, a little chaotic, and impossible to ignore. Commission-free, for everyone.
